1725 DeSales | Vornado / Charles E. Smith

GSS designed and developed the 1725 DeSales real estate property website using a custom Wordpress theme and incorporating many advanced features and plugins, working closely with the marketing team at Vornado / Charles E. Smith to achieve a simple and professional user experience. The DeSales building is located adjacent to the iconic Mayflower Hotel and three blocks from the White House, 1725 DeSales Street is in the heart of the Central Business District (Golden Triangle) right off Connecticut Avenue near key downtown destinations, within steps of Farragut North Metro station and other world-class amenities.


American Maritime Partnership

The American Maritime Partnership (AMP) is the broadest, deepest coalition assembled to represent the domestic maritime industry. AMP's 450-plus members span the entire United States and its territories.

GSS managed the entire website design and development process to deliver a comprehensive solution: rejuvenating the prestigious AMP brand within the digital space.


AccelSpace

Accelspace provides premier commercial office space to support high-growth companies and organizations in the D.C. Metro Area. 

GSS lead creative of the AccelSpace brand as well as design and development of the AccelSpace website featuring a customized integration with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud including ExactTarget. GSS is also currently engaged in an comprehensive digital marketing campaign to formally launch AccelSpace in Q2 2017.


Coalition for Access Now

The Coalition for Access Now (C4AN) is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization led by families committed to educating the public and lawmakers on the health benefits associated with natural therapies derived from cannabis for chronic health conditions. As families whose children suffer from debilitating health issues and who have experienced firsthand the benefits of these treatments, C4AN seeks to raise awareness and encourage policies that would lead to greater access for those in need.


Dredging Contractors of America (DCA)

In August 2016, GSS completed a comprehensive re-branding exercise for the Dredging Contractors of America (DCA). After conducting a creative workshop with DCA's professional staff and executive leadership, we developed a series of logo concepts which were refined into the elegant, yet striking logo visualization for digital and print. The new and improved DCA website includes a robust Members Only portal, from which DCA's staff can securely share legislative and regulatory updates with its membership. 


Dedicated to Puerto Rico

GSS partnered with the team at Nahigian Strategies to design and launch a robust, multilingual (English/Spanish) Wordpress website with the goal of showcasing how the maritime industry is a key supporter for sustaining and improving the way of life for the people of Puerto Rico. The new website, Dedicated to Puerto Rico (D2PR), will play a crucial role in support of the U.S.-Puerto Rican maritime industry, highlighted by the industry’s impact on the Puerto Rico’s economic development and overall national security. From kickoff to launch, the project was completed in less than four (4) weeks.


Driven Forward

When one of Washington D.C.'s most influential business leaders ran into trouble with a dated, proprietary website and a failed migration to Wordpress with an unscrupulous developer, he turned to GSS to recover and redesign his website and overhaul his search engine optimization for his executive consultancy business, Driven Forward.

Glen has founded companies, joined early teams, directed organizations to multiple IPOs including a $360M IPO of Progress Software, mergers, acquisitions including a $92M acquisition of Call Technologies by 3Com. Prior to founding Driven Forward in 2007, Glen worked as a hired-gun turn-around CEO in the employ of Private Equity Investors. After making too many good people available to industry via lay-offs, multiple distressed sales of investor assets Hellman realized failure virus infects the host many years before the symptoms of failure are revealed. Hellman founded Driven Forward to create a healthy failure immune system for corporate leaders.

Council for Dredging and Maritime Construction Safety

The Council for Dredging and Maritime Construction Safety or CDMCS is dedicated to creating a 100% injury free workplace for the dredging and marine construction industry. To help accomplish this, CDMCS engaged Gray Street Solutions to develop a robust and mobile friendly website to allow CDMCS members to collaborate on industry best practices. 

For this project, Gray Street Engaged in a comprehensive rebranding effort to include development of a new logo and style guidelines to more accurately reflect the organizations mission and objectives. For this project, GSS developed a robust "Members Only" portal for association members to organize meetings and securely collaborate and share files. 


PEMDAS Technologies & Innovations

PEMDAS Technologies & Innovations is a Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business comprised of knowledge experts, leaders, and highly skilled engineers who have spent a collective 35+ years in analysis, research, development of complex systems for military, intelligence, and public domain organizations and agencies.

GSS redesigned and developed the PEMDAS site using a robust Wordpress theme to better showcase PEMDAS's high-level work and experience in the aerospace and engineering technology fields, respectively. 


Transportation Institute

Coming from a flat HTML website that was content heavy and feature-light, GSS undertook a comprehensive content and design overhaul which completely revitalized the Transportation Institute's (TI) digital presence. GSS started with exploring and enhancing the TI brand, delivering multiple logo updates and color schemes until the TI was happy with its new mark.

MBDA Inc. is an American company and subsidiary of MBDA Group, a global $4B missile systems company with over 45 missile systems in use by more than 90 armed forces worldwide. MBDA Inc. retained Gray Street Solutions in 2013 to manage the launch of two new websites and develop a comprehensive digital strategy to fully integrate their lobbying and government relations work in support of a DoD capture campaign.

Looking for a better way to keep their membership engaged and informed about time-sensative regulatory and political changes, ICGA came to GSS seeking to build a native mobile application.

Working with ICGA to survey their membership and their preferred means of communication, we discovered that a ICGA owned and branded broadcast test message (SMS) solution would be a more efficent, and effective way to immediatley connect ICGA members with their elected officials at local, state and federal level.

The application was built using the Symfony 2 PHP Framework. It also uses Bootstrap for front-end functionality. Several Symfony2 bundles are also used, such as the powerful and flexible Sonata Admin and FOS User bundles for authentication and user management.


Deconstruction, Inc. developed a wireless sensor and analytic solution to help construction managers save time and money on projects with real-time alerts, advice and predictive analytics. 

After working with the CEO and CTO on their pitch deck and presentation, our unique approach to online and off-line advocacy earned a very honorable mention from Dr. Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon Web Services at the 2013 reInvent summit. Through our work with DeConstruction, we were fortunate to be a part of the renowned global incubator 1776 in Washington D.C from 2013 - 2014 .


Android & iOS Development

 

 

ASC 2016

ASC 2016 is the official app of the American Society of Criminology. GSS managed development of this AppMachine project to integrate over 1,000 different panels and events into an easy to navigate menu. GSS also created a custom "Add to Calendar" feature, which is otherwise not available via AppMachine's API block.

Cognosante Connector

GSS was tasked with integrating a web-based appointment scheduling API with AppMachine to create a streamline, native mobile application for both Android and iOS devices. This app was designed and developed by GSS and launched as a public service in partnership with Young InvinciblesYI Advisors, and Enroll America.

EDGE Mobile Analytics

GSS's flagship product, EDGE Mobile Analytics, is a mobile media monitoring application developed with the goal to relieve media monitoring email inbox alerting fatigue. EDGE only uses notifications to send alerts that you determine to be useful, directly to those who need real-time access to relevant information.
