Rick comes from a background deeply rooted in media communications and journalistic writing. He has also held multiple positions in the traditional media arena, which later evolved into digital communications and multimedia services for global-recognized organizations, including: ESPN, Monumental Sports & Entertainment, and D.C. United, making contributions in areas such as features reporting, media relations, and gameday communications, respectively.
He has since transitioned to creative strategies and digital consulting, which he has been practicing for the better part of the last seven years. In 2010, Rick was contracted to aid digital public relations and online marketing efforts on behalf of the Opening Ceremonies Committee of the 2010 Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games, while also assisting in the development, marketing and sales of the event-specific native mobile application.
Rick is still extremely passionate about sports business and was proudly accepted into Georgetown University’s StartupHoyas Summer Launch Program (2014) after submitting his capstone business proposal for PitchPoints, a one-day fantasy soccer application profiling the biggest and best leagues from around the world in one unique platform. Rick and Tyler also competed in and won the Georgetown Sports Tech Summit startup pitch competition after showcasing the PitchPoints business model.
When he’s not managing beautiful website builds and mobile application development, Rick enjoys spending his spare time doing one of three things: playing soccer, traveling, and trying new and interesting bourbons! In fact, he likes bourbon so much, Rick manages his own “bourbon blog” dedicated to the curiosity and splendor of American whiskey, aptly named Bourbonatic!
My goal is your vision! For every project, from inception to completion, I'm your resource ensuring progress is being made.
